The Peace Symbol has become such an important icon in world culture. To this day, its origins are disputed – however the power and the message the symbol sends is undeniable.
This is the first time LA Pop Art has created art with a message entangled in the artwork itself. Peace can never be complete as wars continue to rage on. We felt it appropriate to create a “Broken” Peace Symbol out of the events that have prevented peace over the last 300+ years.
